1/4 tspn garlic powder
12-16 oz bag of small oyster crackers

Wisk together the 1st four ingrediants and pour over crackers, stir gently to

11.We're having our own TIAS.com virtual cookie bake this year! Send us your
favorite holiday cookie recipe and we'll feature it here!

Here's another cookie recipe submitted by Deb J:

Acorn Cookies

1 cup butter at room tep
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
2 3/4 cups sifted flour
1/2 tspn baking powder
6 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Cream butter, brown sugar, 3/4 cup walnuts and vanilla. Mix flour and baking
powder, and add gradually to the creamed mixture, blending well. Shape into a
teaspoon, pressing the end into a slight point, so the top is larger than the
bottom, imitating the shape of an acorn. Bake at 375 on an ungreased sheet
approximately 15 minutes (don't overbrown). Cool well. Melt the chocolate
chips over warm water and cool slightly. Dip the large end of the cookie
(front only) into the melted chocolate, and then press into the reserved finely
chopped nuts. Cool completely before storing.

As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods from
their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to help
people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.
If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might
just publish it here.
