Hi Daryl!
BM> It is interesting to see and try to figure out how the predictions are
BM> being analyzed.
DS> Well, so many so called "prophets" have "spoken
DS> presumptuously". The Good Lord doesn't share His Glory with
DS> anyone.
It's all going to be a big surprise! I find it somewhat interesting (so
not obsessed) with the "trying to figure out's": was it really an
accurate prediction or did it become accurate because in hindsight
people created a 'valid link'. Thinking of how the destruction of the
Twin Towers was possibly foretold by Nostradamus: did he really do a
cystal ball vision or are we creating a connection?
BM> Well, one could, just usually leads to bad results! As for 'black' or
BM> 'white' themes. for me it "sorta depends". While BBSing my read mode
BM> is a medium blue background and I think black text. Reply mode is
BM> black background with a light-light gray text. The XP terminal screen
BM> is also light gray on black -- maybe default, I don't recall it's been
BM> so long since I fiddled with that. On the Linux side I use a darker destop
BM> background; writing (LibreOffice) it's paper white background
BM> and black text. The Terminal window had a dark black background -- it
BM> isn't as black as Windows'. OTOH Xmessage is a light gray background
BM> with black text.
DS> With the background of the WinDates program being white, I have
DS> to use dark colors for the event reminders. I can change the
DS> colors in MultiMail, but haven't attempted that yet. It was
DS> easier to change color themes in OLX.
Hence the popularity of defaults! <g>
BM> We watch some of the 'cop shows' and some of the requests/orders appear
BM> to be impossible: "GIMME YOUR HAND!!" Well the guy's hand is under his
BM> body, there are three officers on top -- can't move much less present
BM> the hand.... (And to be somewhat fair some just plain don't attempt to
BM> comply.)
DS> Even some of the "wrestling" is fake.
Noooooooo!!! <g> Dad and I used to watch roller derby during work
breaks. Sometimes could see the "I'm waiting for you to get into
position so I can smash you like we planned!".
DS> Nancy Backus could teach you and me a few things. <G>
BM> I wonder where she is? She did say she had been unusually busy.
DS> It does seem she isn't REP-lying very QWK-ly. <G>
BM> Just for that you're required to use a 1200 baud modem for the rest of
BM> the week.
DS> It'll be 0 baud...offline for thunderstorms.
Sneaky!
