Barry,

All computers wait at the same speed. And, if there were no messages,
your whimpering would likely be louder. <G>

NB> Not all of them, anyway... :)

 BM> A few 'bad apples'....

Crusoe, the celebrity dachshund, wanted payment in dog treats. <G>

BM> ... Bachelor: One who's footloose and fiance free...

I used to think fiance was pronounced "financee". <G>

My first fiance (I broke the engagement off before we got married),
always wanted me to take her to the most expensive restaurant, always
pick up the tab, and to forsake all hobbies outside of work, to spend
every waking moment with her. Basically, I was to do all the giving,
and she was to do all the taking. That kind of relationship does NOT
work.

In contrast, my late wife didn't care whether we ate at McDonald's
or The Olive Garden...food was food. Plus, she asked "who is paying
for this??". I normally would give her a big toothy grin (with my
dentures (my own set of falsies <G>)), and she'd lament "I was
afraid of that". Yet, there were times, I asked if we could "go
dutch treat", or if she'd pay for it, and she never complained.

I've heard of family members getting into fights at restaurants
over who was going to pick up the tab (can't we just do dutch treat??).
Now, if someone is going to buy me a meal, I certainly won't complain.

Daryl

... Monday is an awful way to spend 1/7 of your week.
