Hi Daryl!

BM> Yes for burning the pets' paws. Not so sure about my first dog as I
BM> was rather young and don't remember but my second dog I had as an adult and
BM> remember a lot better. Did take for walks but didn't force her to walk any
BM> place specific, so if she did get on a too-hot pavement or sidewalk she
BM> could decide to walk on the cooler grass.
DS> The dachshund my friends have is smart enough to not walk on
DS> the sunny pavement...but, he also hates walking when the grass is
DS> wet, or there's standing water...as there is today from
DS> thunderstorms. The BBS was down overnight and this morning for
DS> storms, and while there's a lull now, the radar looks like it has
DS> measles, and more storms are on the way.

Tuesday morning we had those two 'bucket pours' of rain. Rest of the
day cloudy with the occasional mist-drizzle. I did do some weeding --
despite the deluge the ground wasn't all that wet. Shrubs were damp /
water droplets hanging so didn't do anything with them; grass was
surprisingly not all that wet.

DS> Seems we've gone down this road before...it looks familiar. :P
 BM> So it's a deja view!
 DS> Yep...tagline in the making. <G>

Slow down in a tagline construction zone?

BM> Darn. Was sort of hoping they all moved out. Assuming the plumbing
BM> entry is the sewer line as the hot and cold water lines would seem to
BM> be too narrow, though the critters can squeeze through narrow openings.
DS> And, they have sharp teeth as well. Plus, they carry such
DS> things as rabies and typhoid.

In their over-the-shoulder hobo sacks or carry-on luggage?
