Barry,
DS> Money talks...mine waves "good-bye". :P The mudslinging gets
DS> worse each year. The party out of power will do all they can to
DS> wrest it back from the party in power...a never ending vicious
DS> cycle.
BM> I've noticed some of the 'anti-ads' (mainly against the opponent) have
BM> brought up items done years ago but the voiceover makes it sound like
BM> something done recently. ...And as usual we end up choosing the lesser
BM> of the two evils.
Not to get too "political" or "spiritual" here, but it is also taking on
a "religious" deal, with Biden wanting to cater to Islam, and Trump (and
the Christians) wanting no part of it.
The thing is, one day, we'll know who is right.
BM> Some people just plain don't like being told what to do and will do the
BM> opposite even if bad for them in the long run. At this point Iowa
BM> isn't requiring face masks in general public, there are requirements
BM> for certain businesses. At this point I don't wear a mask unless need
BM> to but if the state or county issues an order I will comply -- figuring
BM> they know something I don't.
I may have mentioned this in another area or message...but a female in
California took the expression "P!$$ 0N +H!$" to the max in a Verizon store,
after being told she had to wear a max...she dropped her pants and panties,
and proceeded to urinate on the floor. The police were on the way already,
and she was arrested...then, it was discovered she had a bunch of stolen
items in her car.
BM> Fortunately no ouch other than the sharpness of the tooth on the
BM> tongue. 'Ouch' for general tooth damage, yes. :) And what was sort of
BM> funny was my dentist's son had graduated from dental college and joined the
BM> practice so I was one of his first patients. Poor guy had a bit of 'trial
BM> by fire' as I have a gag reflex, the molar is in the back (obviously) where
BM> things are a little more sensitive, so the working
BM> back there, plus trying to install and keep the filling ring device
BM> back there... That did not work so Plan B -- filling done. Not going
BM> to win any awards for being pretty but we got the job done.
That's all that matters. But, you need to be kind to dentists...they have
fillings, too. <G>
DS> Thank you. Tagline thievery is both an art and science. <G>
BM> As well as a touch of humour/sarcasm.
Nancy Backus could teach you and me a few things. <G>
BM> ... Cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny.
DS> And, a cannibal may be full of...never mind. :P
BM> "Toot toot!" <g>
Windbreaker -- a Poot Suit. <G>
BM> ... A royal Egyptian passing gas is a toot uncommon.
But, man and beast have to do it. I wonder who commissioned...let alone
paid for...the study determining the frequency of flatulence with humans... from
15 times a day to 20 times an hour. I heard they were going to do a
study on second hand flatulence, but couldn't get any volunteers. :P
My late wife was polite when she had to "let one go" (our dachshund had
us both beat, for the stench with his SBD's). But, it was like "that was
a full grown adult yipe, and it wasn't on disability!!" -- we were laughing like
mad. :P
